Okay, well you probably get a lot of people like me, but oh well.
I started getting muscle twitching in my thigh about 2 years and 2 months ago, but it quickly progressed to bodywide twitching.
Sometimes I get episodes of constant twitching in a certain spot, most of the time in the thigh were it all started, but sometimes elsewhere too. It can last anywhere from a few days to a month, usually fades away.
Then I seem to forget about it for a few months, still get some random twitching each day but I don't pay much attention to it.
Right now I'm getting constant twitching just above my right knee, has been like this for about a week. I also get this feeling that's hard to describe, not really weakness but something that makes me want to stretch and massage my muscle all the time, also annoys me a bit while I'm walking, but it doesn't impair me. So of course my anxiety came back, and here I am. It might be because of my strength testing routine. I do a lot of stuff to try to see if I'm weak, haven't found any evidence so far. I can still walk on heel/toes, jump on a leg for a while, get up not using hands, run up stairs and bla bla.
I haven't talked to a neuro, only briefly to a GP (a relative of mine) who didn't think much of it, he didn't conduct any test and said I was too young to worry about this. But I'm prone to getting health related anxiety so I can't help myself.
So, what do you guys think of this? I'm 19yo male by the way.
