So very sorry for your loss. You were with him and he passed peacefully. I'd wager those were the two things he wanted most, and I hope you can take solace in them and the wonderful care you gave him. Deepest condolences.

My heart breaks for you. Please don't feel guilt--you loved him very much and did everything you could for him. I don't think any of us could be asked to transport a PALS in distress and pain away from care that eases both. I wish you healing. Much love,
