I'm a very picky eater. I eat 90% organic and rarely eat out. I had a lady coming on Tuesdays to make some crock pot meals and do my bedding/laundry. She hasn't been here in nearly a year because of her own health issues.
Recently I tried a meal service called Healthy Chef. You can place an order for how many meals, select sides. It's organic veggies, wild fish, free range meat. It comes fresh (my delivery comes from Winter Park) and vacuum packed. I've been getting it now for about 4 weeks and it has cut down dramatically on waste and on trips to the grocery store. It's not cheap but not as expensive as eating out.
I'm also back to eating organic Greek yogurt so I can have an easy breakfast or light supper. I throw some in the Vitamix with some dark chocolate, avocado, nuts and greens. My version of healthy ice cream.
If your PALS is on a feeding tube, I think Healthy Chef would be a good option for the CALS.
