Muscle pain in legs

Can someone tell me how bad muscle spasms can be? Is there anything that can be done to help control this?

When my leg spasms started it was in one muscle and that muscle was rock hard and hurt like h-ll...... then eventually both legs would be in such pain that i did not know if it were my muscle or bones... That is how deep the pain was. I had to have surgery on my hand when my legs were acting up, i was in the prep room for six hours because my surgeon found an anuerysm on a man he was doing surgery before me, so it bumped me. I could not eat or drink and had to lie in this hospital bed and kept tossing and turning because my legs hurt so bad, i started crying. When i got home i took my baclofen and was like brand new.. I am very greatful i do not get spasms like that in my legs anymore.
