Muscle atrophy with normal emg , please help

Hi, please I need a help because I'm in the rabbit hole right now ،i have noticed a dent in my left hand today , but my last emg 5 days ago was clean , so can someone have a muscle atrophy with a clean emg ?

Hi Joe-

You've had at least 2 emgs in the last 6 months it seems- and you've been cleared both times. Please understand this forum is intended to support those who have been diagnosed with ALS and their caregivers and can't really be used for diagnostic purposes. It sounds like you have a big fear of ALS but do not show any actual signs of it.

Please understand this forum can not be used in place of proper medical care and isn't a place to return to for reassurance whenever your fear becomes overwhelming.
