Hi every one,
I am a GP physician from Egypt. I had symptoms typical for that of ALS since about 3 years ago. I overlooked and never wanted to visit a neurologist. But it happened a year ago when i dicided to do it, a neurologist told me that I am having a rare type of ALS, called Monomelic lateral sclerosis. He also told me that this affects onle one limb and remains stationary after that, and that i have to forget all about my condition and carry out my life normally.
I am having progressive weakness in my right lower limb and I became scarred of possible progression of the disease to other parts of my body.
Could any one help me with this? Does any one have the same condition or have suffecient informations about that.?
Thanks

Yes it is also called MONOMELIC AMYOTROPHY...PLEASE KINDLY KEEP PROVIDING ME WITH UPDATES...THANKS.

If you type "Monomelic Atrophy in the search (top of page, blue bar, where it says "search"), there are many posts.
