I would like to wish all cALS (caregiver of someone with ALS) a Merry Christmas or Happy Holidays, whichever you prefer!
I hope if you have kids living at home that someone will volunteer to take them to buy a gift for you and your pALS! Everyone is so busy at this time and doesn't think of the kALS (kid of someone with ALS) and how they don't have an opportunity to go look for a gift without the cALS being there and paying for it. My son is upset that he hasn't been able to do so and he is 11.
Tomorrow I hope to finish my "shopping." I hate that this all seems to be such an obligation. We don't have the money, but both families won't listen when we ask to just get for the kids. Of course my husband is off the wall wanting to buy expensive, ridiculous items for his family. I refuse to take him to do that and he can't grasp that Christmas is fast upon us. Gift cards will be the standard this year.
Well, Merry Christmas! I hope all you cALS (and kALS) have a wonderful Christmas without any strife! And I wish comfort and joy to all pALS!
