I wish you all a wonderful day.
I am a man (36 years old)
I apologize in advance for the questions but I have been reading this forum for a while now and your opinions are so helpful
My Neurology Background 5/2021-9/2022
-EMG examination (last June) by a specialist in als
- TMS examination (same date, same specialist)
-last clinical trial in January
All my examinations so far have been without findings - no pathology. I have a total of 5 Emg tests.
Last week, I visited physiotherapy - according to the therapist, my right leg is functionally weaker (I had a gait analysis, a podiatry examination), he does not see the problem as cerebellar, central or polyneuropathic.
What has been scaring me since March is the feeling of pulling my foot (every time the foot bounces, the toes lightly rub against the ground), I can feel it and see the slightly scuffed shoe tips and soles.
I can balance, jump up the stairs on one leg, I can run and sprint with my sons, walk on my toes and heels. I will give an example - I feel my foot pulling while walking, I change it to running, then walking again, which is a few steps without a problem, and then it repeats...
But I have a strong feeling that it is a slight lowering of the foot (for 8 months now)
my question is
1/can my leg drop but still be active in running/jumping and "only" have a problem when walking?
My results so far are clean but I know it could be an umn/lmn problem
I will be very grateful for your comment. I am thinking of you all.
I will also add that walking in the terrain (forest, grass) is no problem. Also up and down the hill. Dragging comes on a straight path.
correction - the last neurological clinical examination was at the beginning of October - no signs of weakness (but I don't have a visible problem), I walk approx. 8000 steps per day (the last two days around 15000 steps/day)
