I haven't visited the site for a while, and am saddened to see the loss of another very special person. My thoughts are with Sandi & the family. He did it with style!

oh man. I am so sad and so sorry. I remember so well when he joined the forum--he was so distraught. then it was like his inner light came back on and he was the funniest and most charming man and ALS would not put out his light.

My sincere condolences to his family.

Max was so helpful to me when I was caring for my mom. Rest in Peace Max...

Max not being here was one of the difficulties of going to DC for ALSA Advocacy Day. We meet him and his beautiful wife the first year we attended--along with meeting Jeff Long and his family. I thought of him often this year, and Matt mentioned both while telling his story to Congress. It's so hard to make and then lose friends. I love you all, but I sure wish you'd stop leaving before my darling...

Like Paulette... I haven't visited the site in a while. It was sad to read Max has passed. Prayers to his family. "Ditto' my friend.
