My mother (the one with PBP) has recently stopped being able to eat bread. She is determined not to have a feeding tube. We were walking through Wally World the other day when we came upon a man handing out samples. They were for a new product called Lunchables Jr., and they're being marketed as snacks for toddlers. They have three little containers; the variety she likes has one with "Ritz Bits," one with short, narrow strips of mozzarella cheese, and one with tiny cubes of turkey. It's especially wonderful because my mother doesn't see well, and all these things are already small and/or cut up. There aren't a whole lot of calories involved, but it's satisfying eating and, combined with a nutrition drink, make a pretty good lunch.

Good idea. Smaller portion size is a good idea as well as it can get tiresome chewing. Thanks.
AL.
