Hello,

I had previously posted on this site about the Liko sling and portable suction devices. I am sad to say my husband lost his battle with ALS in December. As I mentioned previously it was a fast progression.

We are heartbroken and miss him so. He handled his diagnosis and all that he endured during the last 2 years with a grace that humbled all who knew him.

Though I did not post much, I am very thankful for the information and support I got here. It's really invaluable for anyone that is battling this disease and those who are caring for them.

I will continue to hold you all in my heart. Keep fighting the good fight.

I'm very sorry to hear that your husband's journey has ended. Wishing you and your family much peace and strength. He was lucky to have you at his side.

Best,
Laurie

AKY10,

I'm so very sorry to hear of the loss of your husband. I'm not sure that the "missing" part ever completely goes away... but for me, it has become more peaceful with the passing of time. I hope that you, too, can find that peace.

My best...

Jim
