Hello all, first and foremost I want to say thank you to anyone who takes a moment to offer some education on my thread. I have read a fair amount of posts here as many of us do before building up the courage to ask questions about our circumstances, I have also ready the sticky.
I am aware no one is able to dx this disease though the internet but I was hoping to at least quell some thoughts or rule out a few concerns of mine.
I am a 34/yo Male who is fairly active in life. About 7 years ago I began to notice some twitching in my calves, it was both calves but generally the right happened a bit more. That has persisted til this day, cramps have not occurred in my calves as of this post, nor has wasting. However what brings me here more is my dominant right arm, over the past few years I have been struggling with the stamina in this arm and am curious if it could be related.
First instance was about 5 years ago on a fishing trip, during the trip I was reeling in a rather large fish and my right forearm began to cramp up, then my right bicep as well, after taking a moment and getting the fish on deck it felt like my right arm was burned out for the rest of the trip. The arm fatigued pretty quickly. From that point on it has seemed like my right arm tires much quicker than my left, my right is my dominant hand. Brushing my teeth my arm gets a bit tired, however never cramps, when I had had and I combed it my arm would get tired. Picking up heavy objects like a cooler or anything with my right arm, the arm feels like it gets burned out rather quickly and then kind of remains sore for the rest of that day. I’ve had some slight twitching in my hand/forearm, elbow bicep tricep and trap on the right side that comes and goes. The last concern I have at this point is a little difficult to describe so bare with me.
If I make a fist and hold it tight and then open my hand, my right pinky and ring finger seem to drift together slightly away from the middle finger. I’ve noticed my left hand does this a little bit but not as much as the right hand. What at this point are my causes for concern and how should I proceed?
If you’ve made it this far in my post I appreciate it.
