That's my concern with Lyme although there are very real stories of people who went untreated for years due to bad testing then it made treating it harder. It is more common in my area.
As far as Penn, the wait list for Dr. Elman when I called as nearly 11 months, and it makes sense. The receptionist said her appt book is full of referrals from other neuros and ALS patients, and rightfully so.
I saw Dr. Rubinstein instead, seemed fine, knowledgable if a tad dismissive once I said I'd had an EMG.
How do you get the clinic to look at your test results without an appt?
