Lithium and Riluzole?

Anyone tracking those who might be taking Lithium and Riluzole to see what sort of benefit this combination might provide? Anyone here trying it (both), and if so, to what effect?

My mother's doctor refused to give her lithium. His reasoning was that they are waiting on drug trial results that they are conducting. Of course, I figured anything was worth a try. As far as the Riluzole, my mother refused to take it. So, it may be worth a try for you if your doctor is willing to let you try it.
