Here are my EMG results. The Dr who ran it, is not an ALS specialist but says because F-wave latencies and EMG of left side did not show significant abnormalities. Therefore pointing away from ALS.

I did have an abnormal right radial sensory nerve, showing amplitude of 13.5. all other nerves are within the normal limits.

Seeing neurologist tomorrow.

What are your interpretations of the EMG report? Is there any questions i need to bring into my neuro? What would your approach be?

Thanks,
Anthony

The emg looks completely normal. The emg is what matters in ALS so as the doctor said the results point away from ALS.

tomorrow you can ask that the results be explained, ask what the neurologist believes is wrong and what you should do next whether it is a different test, PT, another doctor or counseling for the issues mention in your note or a combination.

congratulations and thank you for sharing your result

Any Idea of what a abnormal right radial sensory nerve showing reduced amplitude means?

I second what Niiki said above :

"tomorrow you can ask that the results be explained, ask what the neurologist believes is wrong and what you should do next whether it is a different test, PT, another doctor or counseling for the issues mention in your note or a combination."

Good luck to you. I'm so very happy for you that you no longer need to post on this forum, as you have been cleared of ALS.

Again, best of luck to you and take good care.

Congratulations!
All questions now need to be asked of your doctor and that is where the discussions need to happen. You don't belong here, I'm honestly so happy for you.
