Hi. First time I was in here, it was 3 years ago. I was depressed, trying to find what is WRONG with me, what is WRONG with my body.
People here like Nikki J, Vincent and Atsugi... They were trying to help me, saying it's nothing wrong with me, but I was just like YOU, I didn't accept what they said to me.
My life was destroyed, I didn't think about nothing else, but ALS.
Neurologist told me I have nothing. I accepted that... But then, every time I see or feel fasciculations, I just return to being depressed and lost.
And then again, I would come here and ask people in here: Do I have ALS, and they would always tell me: No.
I just didn't want to accept that answer...
Because of this:
- Fasciculations all over body
- Fasciculations 24/7 in my legs
- Tongue fasciculations
- Arms, hands and legs - tired easily, just talking on my phone would make my arm tired.
- Tingles in hands
- Waking up with totally numb hand
- Muscle cramps everywhere
- Self induced muscle cramps
- Self induced fasciculations
- Tired easily
- Sleepy
- Yawning way to much
- Jaw spasm when yawning
- Jaw getting tired easily while eating
- Shaking face while smiling
- Right leg felt wierd while walking
- Tightness in my throat
- Excess saliva
- Excess phlegm
- Thick saliva getting stick to my throat
- Voice changed
- Weak voice
But... I don't have ALS. IT IS NOT ALWAYS ALS! I have MVP. Mitral Valve Prolapse with no regurgitation. Benign. And yes, there is such thing called Mitral Valve Prolapse SYNDROME and it can cause many of symptoms that I had, including muscle twitching. My symptoms are gone. Only some minor twitching in legs sometimes, but when it happens, I don't think about it.
Please, you do NOT have ALS. Remember that.
