When ftd and als coexist usually ftd is first. It usually starts with executive function impairment. Some cognitive issues are seen in about 50 percent of PALS at some point. What is FTS?

Nearly always the FTD starts first, but this is important - the person with FTD never notices anything has changed, everyone else notices.

Please discuss your concerns about FTD with your doctor as I'm not sure if you think you now have this as well or instead of ALS.
