As far as these symptoms and signs go...
Twitching... everyone has twitching I do quite frequently and I don't have als. My daughters arm was vissibly twitching from across the room and she doesn't have als or any neuromuscular disease.
Choking on liguids... I do this often and sluring I don't have als.
Clinical muscle weakness I have that and no als.
Sleep apnea yep but not als.
Easily fatigued and no als.
Voice change no als.
Hard to get up from sitting or lying down still no als.
My point is you may have some or all these signs but very well may be something else.
I have parkinsonism and its a progressive neuromuscular disease.
Just posting this to point out to those in woryville there are many things can look like als.
Trust me I know about the uncertainty but try to relax.
 
Good post Denise. I concur with you whole heartedly. There are many diseases that mimic each other.
