Italians are using Iplex for ALS

Paul, you really need to be a little less sensitive. No one said stem cells were bad. Getting stem cell therapy in a third world country could be bad for your health is what is being said here. Stem cell therapy by reputable people as was stated in one of your other posts is fantastic. Any idea how the layman can be sure that our support is going for viable research? It's fine to preach that, but how does the average person working or dealing with an ALS patient ,really have the time or resources to get this information? According to some, they're just a bunch of high paid liars anyway. So Paul, tell us. Who Do We Believe? Who Can We Trust? You? Me? Anybody?

response to Al

Dear Al,

Sorry for being very very tardy in my response.

Your question is correct, how to distinguish from legitimate researchers whose research is actually going to be helping ALS and who is actually just doing research for the sake of research.

Unfortunately its tough. I will think about parameters and get back to you. My personal knowledge comes from how agressively they are trying to perfect animal studies, as opposed to diving very deep into mechanisms

but what i am saying still makes no sense because by diving into mechanissms you get answers that you were not looking for

let me think about an appropriate answer and get back

all the best

Paul

iplex

How can i get this drug for my husband? I am desperate.

Hi golfer. Sorry about your husband. If you use the search up above and type Iplex in you will find lots of information. Unfortunately I don't think they are finding it to be working as well as they had hoped.

You cannot get Iplex as the FDA has ruthlessly cut access thru IND and that deadline was March 6. Supposedly a very small trial will be taking place sometime.

Go to the FDA website above for further info.

Good luck!

Hi Golfer...I just saw my neuro in London, particularly chose him as he is Italian, been in England 20 years, but still has a lot of contacts in Italy. I asked him if it was available in the UK. It has not been licensed here either.....
