I have been constant fasciculation in both of calf for a month and also have fasciculations (not constant) in my arms, shanks, shoulders, neck. In the begining of this i had tingling in both of calfs and in my foots, but some days after the numbness disappeared.
I went to neurology and did EMG. There are some fibrillation potentials and fasciculation potentials in my legs, but everything else is OK.
According to my Doc: Motoneuron disease isn't testable. But I have some mild nerve damage in calfs and shanks. Benign fasciculation maybe. Observation suggested.
I will have to controll EMG in a half year.
NCV was ok. Speed and intensity of electrical signals traveling along the nerves is ok. Normal F-wave latencies and amplitudoes. Polyneuropathy exclude.
What do you think about it? Might it be ALS or BFS or anything other? I am 26 years old male.
How frequent symptom in case of ALS the presence of fasciculations every part of the body?

Hi, In ALS, symptoms do not suddenly appear all over the body.

Good luck.

It can be BFS with mild nerve damage and some fibrillation potential (EMG)?
