Is Everyone Ready For Christmas!

I'm ready I love Christmas its my faveret time of year I love to give such happynest to everyone. How about you PALS what do you like about Christmas? I just want to let everyone know that 16 year old girl is doing a lot better I think I really helped her out with our talks. You know I have never been part of a support group untell two months ago I think I should have done it a long time ago. I could have been helping people out and geting help to. I missed a lot of my good years. Well got to go now.

I love Christmas, too ... it is the highlight of the year!

My mother, though mostly bedridden, has barked orders (wrote in BIG letters) to my father on what to do for the grandkids for Christmas. She has sent him shopping for videos for one grandson, made him dig in a closet for a stained glass butterfly hanging for one granddaughter, made him go to the bank and get cash for everyone else. My daughter, who is 3yo, is getting some videos and tub toys.

I must say that throughout this horrible year and a half, she has kept her spirit intact. I can only hope that I will be able to embrace her example if I ever find myself having a terminal illness.

So, with bittersweet thoughts, we are as ready for Christmas as we are going to be.

Hope the holidays hold some brightness for all of us. Even if it just reminds us of the good times from years ago.

I'm almost ready...I have had a power chair on loan until tuesday. Slower than a turtle LOL My daughter and I went and did some of the shopping and I am finishing on wednesday.

I just have to get all the baking done. I started with 1 batch of shortbread but it was short lived. The family ate them!

We are having family come to us this year. I saw a sentiment thing on tv and making my hubby and kids do it for our guests. As Steve would say "Martha Stewart thing". Oh well suck it up buttercup :lol:

*sigh* I am so trying to "suck it up" My oldest sisters fiancé is coming and I really dislike the guy. He is a functional alcoholic. How do you find 3 nice things to say about him?....I am racking my brain to be nice and honest at the same time...the rest of my family is no problem.

Steve, Tell him that you respect his right to drink, and he should respect your right to ask him to limit those activites in your house.

I do that with my brother-in-law. It works. We all have a good time.
