Hello all,

I haven’t been able to find anything online or in the forums here, but is bruising in an area that’s been twitching non-stop (multiple muscle groups twitching) a sign of ALS? I started having twitches back in March that have moved all around my body at various times, but recently in the last two weeks it has predominantly been in both calf muscles where the twitching is 24/7. And I checked today and now there’s a bruise of unknown origin on my left calf. Wasn’t sure if having ALS makes it easier to bruise?

No. The only reason PALS may have more bruises than average is from injuries as we are sadly prone to falls. See a doctor if you have unexplained bruising
