Is anyone using an iPad with a jelly bean switch?

My PALS got the switch a couple of weeks ago but he doesn't spend enough time using it and he becomes frustrated. I would think it is very similar to using eyegaze in principal.

I'm wondering if anyone using this on iPad has any good tips or tricks they can share with this gadget so I can help him use it more efficiently.

thanks in advance

What is that? My dad has just a few months left (most likely) and his voice will go any day now and we need something for communication. And my dad was to stubborn to ever try for a gaze keyboard thing

If you goo gle jelly bean switch you will see them. It is a great device!

My PALS sadly still isn't touching it even more than once a week if we are lucky and so isn't progressing in learning to use it well yet.

When you set the iPad to switch control, the screen is scanned, similar to how eye gaze scans, and you touch the switch to select from the screen. As long as you can move something you can use it, so it could be press with a finger, elbow, chin, whatever.
