Does anyone have any experience or remarks about an elevated IGF1 level and its implication for having ALS.

I could see that research was conducted back in 2010 and published in the European Medical Journal with findings that showed ALS patients had above average IGF1 levels vs the benchmark group. The hypothesis being that the body is releasing higher levels as it attempts to counter the ALS symptoms.

ALS here refers to Acid Labile Subunit, not amyotrophic lateral sclerosis.
