Hi,
I originally dismissed my left arm weakness after an emergency surgery for a breast abscess back in 2019. I went on to be diagnosed with flail arm syndrome in Oct 23.

I've had a recurrent abscess in the same place and another emergency surgery a few weeks ago and was on IV antiobiotics, now I'm struggling to lift my 'good arm' up ( but was in alot of posture related pain before)

Does anyone have experience of infection, secondary to MND, affecting progression?

Best wishes,Denise

I have found any illness or injury even a minor one makes me worse afterwards Sometimes after recovering I go back to my previous baseline sometimes the loss is permanent. I hope you recover quickly

Thankyou Nikki,

I was struggling in my right arm due to posture/anxiety/progression (couldn't tell which) before the surgery.

Back on amoxiclav after signs of surgical wound infection and follow up in breast clinic next week.

All the best Denise x

An infection on one side could certainly affect the other side, especially in the chest area.

Thankyou Laurie
