I think I might have ALS, if I have these symptoms and an EMG is normal does this rule out ALS.

It would be helpful if you could post the past and new EMG, with your details crossed out. But I'm not clear on how things were left after the EMG? What did she say next steps are?

David, you had two replies asking for further information. I think people were waiting for that.

I'm sorry for not seeing the replies I don't know what happened. I just took pictures of both of my emgs, but I don't know how to get them on my computer, and to this website. Ill have to just type out what it is saying. on 11-29-2022, I had an emg done. the emg says
L Gastrocnemius Medial Head Fib none, Fas none
L Abductor hallucis Fib none, Fas none
L Vastus lateralis Fib none, Fas none
L Deltiod Fib none, Fas none
L Bicep brachi Fib none, Fas none
L Pronator teres Fib none, Fas none
L Abductor pollicis brevis Fib none, Fas none
L First dorsal interosseous Fib none, Fas none

The newest emg was done on 1-20-2023
The Occ means occasional and when i look at the graph they look like sharp lines going straight upwards.
L Gastrocnemius Medial Head Fib none, Fas * Occ
L Abductor hallucis Fib none, Fas none
L Vastus lateralis Fib none, Fas * Occ
L Deltiod Fib none, Fas * Occ
L Bicep brachi Fib none, Fas *Occ
L Pronator teres Fib none, Fas none
L Abductor pollicis brevis Fib none, Fas none
L First dorsal interosseous Fib none, Fas none
L Tib Anterior Fib None, Fas *Occ
L TensFascLat Fib none, Fas *Occ

The dr wants me to have a lumbar puncture done, she said I don't need anymore tests after this. when i asked her what happens if the lumbar puncture is normal, she said I don't know. The uncertainty is driving me crazy and this Dr doesn't know when ill be diagnosed.

Fasiculations are not ALS. It seems odd if there are only 2 columns on the EMG.
What did the summary say at the end.
Did the doctor (the neuromuscular specialist) sit down and talk you through your results?
It's hard for us to comment without knowing these things.

There should be a lot more columns as Tillie says as well as a summary. You should be able to upload photos to this site from your phone if that is where they are use attach files but make sure your name and other info are not visible

Your EMG is only showing one part and that part doesn't show anything except fasciculations.

Is this doctor a neuromuscular specialist?

There should be an impression (summary) at the bottom of the report.

If you can see the whole report, it looks like you are only showing the first three columns.
