I went out to lunch with my friend and I think her speech and drooling are better. She asked the waitress if there was a way to have her food blended. The waitress said they didn't have a blender, so my friend ordered salmon with some kind of sauce and got some extra sauce. She ate fine and drank a soda. She started on the rizule?( Spelling) 2 weeks ago. I thought this medication only extended life a bit? She, so far has no breathing problems. Her legs and arms are strong. Her symptoms started about a year ago. Neuro told her she has a little over a year to live. Do you think it is fair for a Doctor to tell the patient how much time they have left? MD can't possibly know for sure. Is it possible the medicine is helping?
