Hi, this is my first time posting. My husband age 73 is current in the hospital being treated for pneumonia.
He was diagnosed Oct. 2022. He was also in the hospital for the same thing back in Aug.
He uses a Trilogy Evo at home most of the time. Usage of his left hand is pretty much gone and right hand is getting weaker. They placed a NG tube for feeding right now until they feel comfortable planing a PEG. He doesn't want to be intubated or have a trach.
Sometimes I feel like I have accepted this and then there are other times where I think is this real? He is on meds for his mood so he's really laid back with it all. I thankful for the way he is taking all of this. He also has FTD.
