Hi dear members! Today I did my first EMG. Doctor said that he saw a couple of fascilations..no chronic denervation.. he doesn't think it's ALS. But he is not God to say exactly. 99 percent no. He did neuroexam and said all good. For now my symptoms spread from left leg to left arm. In left leg and left arm I feel tickling almost all time. And I feel weakness in them. In ALS it usually started with one limb? Can it be ALS if no weakness in leg until now and spread already to arm ? I appreciate all opinions! Thanks. So much! Olesya

Sounds like your doctor is , like most, reluctant to say 100 percent never the best you would get is 99 percent. Normal emg ( a couple of fasciculations do not count) and a normal exam = no ALS. Feeling weak is not being weak and a normal exam says you are not weak.

per your doctor, exam ,emg and symptoms no ALS. Time to move on. Work with your doctor to find out what is wrong
