OK, This has been going on for over a year and I vowed to take care of my teeth first, then PT for my knee and torn rotator cuff.
Has anyone had experience with removing internal hemorrhoids via banding them off and letting them die and fall off? It doesn't matter if you're a PALS or CALS. I don't need help breathing and I can still climb up on a table and drive.
Here are my concerns:
1. I take lots of supplements and some of them thin my blood. I would discontinue the ones that thin blood for a couple of weeks before to reduce the risk of bleeding.
2. I take Preparation H EVERY NIGHT and that helps. I also take psyllium every morning so constipation is rare but it does occur about once a week.....which keeps the hemorrhoids inflammed.
3. They only do one at a time and I have three (as of a year ago.) The wait between procedures is about 3-4 weeks so it's basically going to take three months to see if it works.
4. The success rate is high and the complication rate is low.
Just looking for anyone who has had this procedure or if you know of someone who has had it?
