I think something is wrong with my nerves in my brain. It started where several times during the week I would wake up in the middle of the night and my left eyelid wouldn't open. My brain was telling it to open but it wouldn't. I can't really describe it. Then that stopped. Then a few weeks after that I got PVCs in my heart that lasted for about 2 months. They would occur all day long, about 4-10 per minute. Then they stopped. About 2 weeks after they stopped is when the blepharospasm in my right lower eyelid started after I got what I guess would be my first migraine headache (I do get ocular migraines but this was the first time I got an actual killer headache. Worst headache of my life, felt nauseous, and my right eyeball was sore for 3 days). So I went to the eye doc because I have been getting more ocular migraines, sometimes multiple in one day, so he said don't worry about that, oculars are normal. You could get ten a day and that is fine. And i wasnt even gonna say anything about the eyelid spasm but it slipped out cause i didnt think it was a big deal. So then he said well its not normal to have that for as long as you've had that for so you need to see this other eye specialist person. Appt coming up soon with that person. He said its prob blepharospasm. It twitched all day long for a 2 month period. Since that last appt, the eyelid twitching stopped and now the area around my mouth and chin (but only on right side) has been twitching, and i feel this tightness in my right cheek. The other day my right butt cheek was twitching. Now the twitching past couple days hasnt been bad, i think its gonna stop, but i get kind of scared because the pattern seems to be it focuses on one area and twitches for a few months, then stops and moves to a different area on my body, so I guess a new area will start twitching soon. What is this? Is it a vitamin deficiency? Or vitamin overload? MS? My dad, his sister, and her daughter have MS. Is it just a vessel pushing on a nerve or something? SO what is affecting the right side of my body? I am a 35 yr old very healthy and actively fit female with no medical history. I exercise 30 minutes to 1 hour every day (cardio and weight lifting). I eat a very healthy clean whole food diet, no additives, no preservatives, lean cuts of meat. Now, I do eat raw spinach every day so I am getting more than my fair share of potassium. But i read potassium is good for contractions. I don't get enough calcium or vit D in my diet, but i do take a multivitamin every day... but i wonder if calcium is low can that cause these contractions? I feel really good and full of energy other than these stupid contractions!:x

Go To the dr. It could be anything at this point.

call your GP doctor and get a check up. what ever is going on, it is nothing like ALS. he should know about your family history of MS.

See your doctor! Get a specialist. Take Care of Yourself!

@livelaughlove3885:

Q.What can you do to stop those contractions or whatever they are?

A. Make an appointment with your GP and let him/her find out what it is.

Good luck.
