Hello, I don't know where to start, I'm 22 years old and I've been under stress for 2 months because of work. I've been a hypochondriac since I was little for terrible diseases. I apologize for the English beginning, I know it's not the most perfect.

A month ago I was getting a lot of panic attacks, I suffer from OCD and I was short of air. I started digging on the internet and started with all the diseases from cancer to tetanus. From a lot of stress maybe from lack of sleep one morning I woke up with a very foggy head and no I could finish the sentences I started, words just didn't come to me and I can't concentrate on what they say to me.

I visited the hospital 3-4 times. 10 days ago I was at a neurologist because I thought he should examine me, but then I went just because this problem with the cognitive disorder but i still get it and when i speak i speak slowly slurred sometimes i don't say the words right i noticed i forgot for example the lyrics of familiar songs and tax in general disorientation what brings me here is that after the review from a neurologist and a CT scan of the brain and he said everything is ok but then I only had these symptoms and slight dizziness and flickering in my eyes now for 3 days I got a sudden fatigue in my arms and legs my whole body is twitching and I have a lot of weakness in my whole arms and legs , when I walk I feel like they are heavy even when I sit my arms feel very weak, when I raise them they start to tremble, my legs too. I feel a slight pain but just this weakness applies to me. Both arms and both legs at the same time...

I am very afraid to it's not ALS or MS because it can get worse and start dropping things etc. Literally when I play billiards for example I feel shaky and very reduced strength and I'm afraid it will get worse. Please help me.

Please find a primary care clinician (an NP or PA might be right for you) who can help you master your anxiety, work with your OCD, and find a good counselor.

If you press through your feeling of weakness when you play billiards, for example, I'll bet you can find some peace in how well you can play. Your mind is the leader in this. Keep telling it that you are going to sleep, eat, work, and play well because you are a deserving person. Don't let your fears tell you that this can't get better.

You don't have ALS or MS. You've had normal neurology exams and those are neurological diseases. But I would make sure you have basic labs done because the stress and lack of sleep you're under could be compromising your health, causing other issues such as shakiness, dizziness and lapses in word-finding.

Thank you and excuse me for the late answering..because of im not able to go for EMG i just wanted to ask someone who can say me are these symptoms like these diseases. The main reason for disturbing you was that i feel this weakness slowness and severity after the my neurological review and im scared of that.Maybe i will relax when im able to test in EMG…

I will place what Laurie replied to you before, just in case you did not read it. It already answered your question, which means if you are asking again, you have not read carefully or do not believe her:
