Have Angelo check out a recent issue of Guitar Player. There is a tech piece by Jason Becker, who still teaches and composes, totally by eye gaze (he has ALS). There is also a film showing how he works, "Not Dead Yet," that aired nationally and I'm sure is available streaming somewhere.

Of course, any music app that can be controlled with a virtual keyboard, he can still use with an alternative mouse (head mouse, voice recognition, etc.)

I understand your feelings. My husband was diagnosed about 3 weeks ago, we have a 5 yr old little girl. It's so difficult to know where to turn to and what to do. It's scary and heart breaking to know that the man you love is fighting this battle. My prayers are with you and your sweet family.
