I will keep this short to not waste anyone's time. I appreciate your answers.

I have muscle twitches randomly all over body, especially in right calf. My legs feel weak and drained. It seemed to have all developed within the last 6 weeks. I am able to walk without falling but feel that soon that won't be the case. I have a lot of glute and hip soreness. MRI on brain came back normal. Not sure where to go from here. I have a neurology appointment in a week. I was wondering if anyone else reading this started out this way and was diagnosed with ALS. Thank you for your time.

Nope, I know no one who started with your symptoms. Have a read here, and that should quell your fears about having ALS. You simply do not evidence it at all.

If the neurologist comes up blank, I would ask about seeing a rheumatologist.
