There is no chance that one of the symptoms you are describing in retrospect will cause us to change our opinion, or your PCP's, relative to ALS. Once your new insurance kicks in, I would advise you to find an internist you can trust, not simply for a diagnosis per se, if there is one (not all "symptoms" lead to a particular diagnosis), but to gather evidence on what might help you feel better.
Meanwhile, due attention to stretching, sleep, stress, hydration, and diet never hurt anyone. But reading hundreds of dire diagnostic stories about something you don't have will only feed your anxiety and worsen your issues.
Nothing you can read here is any substitute for what you can accomplish on the ground.
