I think it's highly unusual for one to be healed from ALS but there have been documented cases (Bedlack has a list of them.) As far as this lady is concerned, something got her out of the wheelchair. I really don't believe a well-known neuromucular specialist could misdiagnose her but that is possible and, it appears, that she developed Parkinson's well after she was dx with ALS.

People don't even know how or why we get ALS in the first place. Why do some people progress extremely slow and others extremely fast? Is it something in their bodies that fight it off? Is it something they are taking or doing? We just don't know.

I've heard about her case before. The mind is a very powerful tool. I know because it made me sick in my 40s and actually stopped my pancreas from digesting fat. I suffered from severe treatment-resistant depression and got a ton of physical symptoms. Mayo was sure I had a disease of the pancreas and I was sure I was depressed. They were wrong, so misdiagnoses do happen.

Jethro, I'm also a person of faith.

You seem to be doing the same thing I did for three years and that is trying to figure out this disease and what, if anything, can help you and others. This past year I just decided to stop researching except I sometimes add something to my supplement cocktail or take something away.
