If anyone's looking for a boost of patriotism this Independence Day, I strongly suggest watching HAMILTON, Lin-Manual Miranda's quintessential American story of "young, scrappy, and hungry" Alexander Hamilton. A video recording of the musical, with ORIGINAL CAST MEMBERS, has just been made available on the Disney Plus channel, and it is AWESOME.

I watched the fireworks on CNN. They had some awesome entertainment going on all through the two displays (DC and NYC)
I think everyone on the river here set off their own because I could hear them all night.....and I have Cat. 5 triple pane windows so it was loud.
A friend at the pool told me Hamilton was great.

I watched Hamilton yesterday afternoon...WOW what an amazing production!!!
Thomas Jefferson - such a unique character portrayal
King George III - OMG Absolutely hilarious. Just how I imagined he would be, sound, act, and spit!

I agree Cathy. I loved the characterization of Jefferson and King George. Someone advised me to rewatch it with the closed captioning which I will do because I missed so much.
