Great Walk

Today we had the Scottsdale ALS Walk. He had a great turnout, but then why not be in AZ in late October! It was great having family and friends from all over. Hope others have great Walks and are encouraged by support of others.

Hi Doug. We had the first official Boise ALS Walk yesterday as well. Our weather was great, mild and mostly cloudy so nobody got too warm. Lots of enthusiastic people and I think we all had a great day! I was surprised by the turnout for a first walk... 488 registered, 30 teams, and the fund raising goal beaten before the walk started. Boise did not have a local ALSA presence until earlier this year but after yesterday I'm greatly encouraged about all the possibilities going forward. A very positive day, and like you I hope everyone can have the same hope and support available to them.

By the way, great picture you shared and what a BIG team! Well done. Our team was quite small but we were enthusiastic.
