As an FYI, the attached letter urges the President-Elect to reverse the restrictions on HFT research that were imposed in 2019.
The letter mentions ALS as a disease in which it's critical for researchers to have fetal tissue access. Interestingly, however, the signatories do not include ALSA, ALS-TDI or MDA -- in fact, no ALS-specific groups.
