Further questions on my condition

I first want to thank everyone for your responses regarding my condition.
Summary:
- since July 2008 twitching started, emg normal
- March 2008 Ulcerative colitis flare up - On prednisone until Dec 15, 2008
- January 2009 experiencing some weakness lots of twitching FEB 09 emg ok
- constant head pressure on sides of head nerve pain like shocks happen evey once and while
- july 09 head pressure still worse, twitching, heavy legs Aug 09 emg good
- Oct 09 colitis flare up - on prednisone until end of Dec
- Oct 19 had 11 mercury fillings then on following monday chelation
- since sept 09 shoulder pain, head/neak pain, joints popping everywhere
- today - shoulder pain, spine have spasms all night, twithing has happened mostly in leg calves and left tricip now twitching in right tricep
numbness in legs and knees feel sore
restless sleep
left arm shakes when I stretch, right is starting to do a little shaking
purchased neck brace to see if helps with head-doesn't
always tired

- next aavajlable appt wit neur is in March 2010
- GI wants to put me on remicade- side effect nervous system
- aniexty pills not working for me.

Trying to be patient but my body is not co-operating.

Any ideas.

Trevor, what you describe as your "possible ALS" symptoms could be complications of your Ulcerative Colitis. UC is an Inflammatory bowel disease, and if it's not properly treated causing complications affecting CNC and musculoskeletal. Trial of Remicade IV sounds like a reasonable approach by your GI.
