Hi everyone, I see that along with people that are ALS patients, many worried, looking for information or probabilities visit here. Statistics are very important in evaluating probabilities and can offer information many scientific studies do not particularly present. Therefore I'd like to post specific questions that could give valuable data to those interested, worried etc. Here is my question: Fasciculations in ALS are said to be sporadic, intermittent in general. So it starts then stops for a while during the day.
The question goes to all those diagnosed ALS patients that wanna help:
How often roughly, are your fasciculations, on average per day and how long do each last on average would you say? It'd be great if you could add if you had them as an initial symptom (before weakness, atrophy etc). And in case they were your initial symptom, it'd be great if you could add where it started and how the frequency and duration per day was initially as well as now. Thank you.

First go to the intro section and describe your intention and your background.

THEN start asking questions
