I’ve had fasciculations before, but never any that lasted this long. My left knee has been twitching pretty much nonstop for two weeks. I do plan to see a doctor and get an EMG but I’m in the process of getting disability and life insurance so I need to do that first.

My question is, is it concerning that my fasciculations are so focal? I do get random one off twitches throughout my body, but two weeks ago out of the blue my left knee started twitching like crazy and hasn’t stopped. I don’t think I have any weakness and I’m still able to run a couple miles every day, so hopefully that’s a good sign, plus I’m under 30, but the longer this goes on the more concerned I am getting.

No -hot spots are common in benign fasciculation syndrome. No more concerning than any other twitching. Don’t worry

Thank you for taking the time to reply, Nikki, I appreciate it. I will update EMG results when I have them.
