Hello everyone,

I am a 33 young male, with no known health problems.

About 1.5 weeks ago, I was laying down to go to bed, and my left hand pinky finger started to spasm, I didn't think anything of it, because I had been riding 4 wheelers for a few hours that day over rough terrain ands hadn't been on the 4 wheeler in years. The next morning I examine my hands, and my left hand, the pinky, ring and middle finger are wiggling back and forth at full extension. I haven't ever examined my hands, so unknown if its been there for life. Fast forward a few days, my pinky stopped spasm, but I am have muscle twitches all over my body and my 3 fingers are still wiggling. I have a light pain here and there in my hands or legs/ body, but I did just start back in the gym after a few weeks.

I have been crippled with anxiety, and last night my chest was vibrating when I woke up. The muscle twitches are in the legs, stomach, foot, other hand, all over realy, but a majority are right above the left knee.

I read and it said muscle twitched don't usually mean AL, but everywhere else I read says so, I was curious as the finger and the twitching. I am loosing weight fast, but I am loosing my appetitie due to anxiety. Thank you!

Hello-

It sounds like you've already read the Read Before Posting link, so you know that we wouldn't contradict what is in there. You do not indicate whether you've been to the doctor or not, but that is where you need to start if you are concerned about your health. Wiggling fingers and pain are something else. Losing appetite due to anxiety is easily remedied- visit with your doctor and get your health concerns addressed properly. Googling is really not as helpful.

Take care

Went to the doctor, they did visual tests such as me pulling on their hands, clenching and resisting, and tapping on some body parts to get a rection. The didn't see anything. I asked for a neurologist referral and they said no, and that I had anxiety...Maybe it is anxiety, but the twitching is bad and vibration of muscles

You can deal with the anxiety, regardless. Anxiety can muddy the waters by causing or amplifying symptoms and possibly delay diagnosis if something else is going on. Please consider addressing. Once you've worked on reducing stress, it may be easier for a doctor to tease out what symptoms, if any, are caused by something organic.

Twitching without clinical weakness is not worrisome no matter what you think you read. Vibration isn’t a symptom either.

If you went to a neurologist they would do the same tests your pcp did
