Hi all and thank you for your time in reading this post.
I have been here before and find myself back worrying about symptoms I have. I saw my neurologist a few weeks ago for my ms checkup and told him my fears of als because I have had muscle twitching, he examined me carefully and told me I did not have it. Fast forward 3 weeks and I am having what I think are swallowing issues in that I am having to swallow constantly, eating OK and drinking OK though. I am swallowing excessively and I'm not sure why? Any reply would be greatly appreciated. I have just recently been discharged from hospital where I spent ten days in psychiatric care, so maybe its to do with my anxiety. Sorry to take up your time and thanks again

Swallowing constantly is not an ALS symptom. I am sorry you are having such a hard time but you have been reassured by your neurologist. Please believe them. Closing thread
