Hi,
I haven’t been able to see a neurologist, there are some terms used on my results and I was wondering if anyone knew If these were common things found.

“Some fasciculation potentions”
“occasional polyphasic units”

It’s goes on to say everything else is normal but I am obviously concerned as to what these means as I can’t access a neurologist at the moment

Do you have the actual report? Block your identifying information snd post it so we can see there should be charts and a summary/ interpretation. it doesn’t sound worrying but seeing the whole thing helps. Why did you have it?

It doesn’t have the hallmarks of an ALS emg. You did not include the summary nor did you say why you had the emg.

your doctor needs to out this is context with your symptoms, your clinical exam and this and any other tests done but from what you have presented there seems no reason to consider ALS

Rick147, just curious as you wrote...

"I haven’t been able to see a neurologist,"
"concerned as to what these means as I can’t access a neurologist at the moment"

If you might share... by who and where was the EMG performed?

Usually an EMG is performed by a Neurologist... as far as I know.

And... the Summary/Conclusion at the bottom of the report is very
important if you can post that

But from what the reply above noted...

"but from what you have presented there seems no reason to consider ALS"

That's good news.
