Interesting I’ve come across this topic, I’ve been dreaming a lot lately. I too like firefighter 58, dream of work and many interesting situations. I also dream of walking and then relize in my dream I can’t walk, but I continue to walk, and love the way I feel, so free again. I must keep having this re accruing dream, that I can walk normal sometimes I think in my dream I have on and off ALS. I love dreaming of walking. I figure if I can’t walk during the day, I’ll walk all night in my dreams, take what I can get!
It’s been great reading all your post.

I can't wait to fall asleep and dream of walking, and talking and eating again. I get great pleasure from it. It is the only time I don't have ALS!

Unexpectedly seeing my mother in a dream, I asked, "Mother?"
She was walking left and brighter than the wisps of faint shadows, which disappeared.
She turned and gazed in my direction.
When she recognized me, a look of such sorrow and grief came over her face, that I became quite frightened.
She enveloped me in her arms, held me tightly, and wept.
I asked, "Mother, what's wrong ?"
She faded away, and I awoke.

I knew it was a "portent", but not about who or what.
A few weeks later I was diagnosed with ALS.

Recently, mother, her mother, my brother and I were happily playing cards at the kitchen table, in our home now all gone.
Another dream portent? I do not know.
