Hey guys, I am 17 year old and constantly worried about ALS. I had twitches all over my body since the past 4-5 days and I can literally feel them. As soon as I look towards them they just disappear (most of the times). From the past two days, I am having a bit of dry mouth and numbness near my lips. There are no other problems as such, apart from some facial twitches which are worrying me even more. I have dry mouth which, i.e., my mouth is extremely dry when I wake up with a thin coating and smells very bad in the morning. I am too worried and its hampering my studies. One more thing, I have trembling in my hands from a very long time. I am also feeling that I have a scratchy voice which makes me even more worried. PLease help :(

Nothing sounds like ALS possibly stress but not ALS.

Hmm I am just getting too worried. It looks like symptoms are popping up since I read about ALS. My voice is a bit hoarse now due to cold probably and now I am feeling like I have bulbar ALS :(

With ALS your voice doesn't go hoarse it just stops and bulbar has no feeling. You do not have ALS. At 17 go out and do what 17 year olds do, no more hanging around here. You are not wanted here.

All the symptoms you describe can be anxiety. Cut out the caffeine, drinks lots of water, and exercise. If it doesn't help, see your doctor to get reassurance and maybe some treatment for anxiety.

Nothing you post sounds anything like ALS.
