Disposing of meds

I have a dopamine agonist that I no longer need because I do not have PD. How would I go about safely disposing of it? Are there any charities that will accept it for distribution in poor countries?

I turn in any meds I have left over to my Doctor and let him distribute them to needy people. However, if they are capsules, they usually will not accept them as they can be tampered with.
