If a person has the beginnings of respiratory insufficiency, atrophy, weakness, fasciculations, and bulbar issues, what else besides ALS could it be? It would seem that the diagnosis would not be difficult to make with this symptom profile. As it turns out, that is my profile, but I do wonder if there could be other candidates besides ALS?

By the way, the good news regarding Capt. Al, makes one think about possible misdiagnoses. Thanks for listening and would appreciate your input.
