Hi - I was told by my Dr. today that I do NOT have ALS - possibly PLS.

As far as I can determine the only two differences is that PLS is slower advancing and secondly does not affect the diaphragm.

Can anyone tell me if this is correct? Ruby from Vancouver (surrey)

Hi Ruby. If you go to the forums list on the last page there is a link for pls that explains it better and in simpler terms.
AL.

Hi Al, I guess I am just plain stupid - I cannot find the forums "list"...............ruby

It's on the page before this one. It has the topics like general discussion, people with ALS , Events, welcome new members, and pls and pbp topics. Most people don't read the stuff there because once you sign in a few times you just go to the ones you want. Not everyone reads the whole board. Under the main topic there is a little pls at the end click on that and then click more information on the next page. Hope it helps. AL.

Thanks Al....................ruby
